Dylan Thomas. The Boathouse.
Dylan Thomas. The Boathouse is
on the side of the Taf estuary and
2014  marks a celebration of
his birth and death.
There also is a Dylan Thomas Centre
which is in Swansea which is worth a visit.
Don’t miss the Festival which runs from
27th october to 9th november, this is one
of many events which are being held.

“Fern Hill” is one of Dylan’s well known Poems and also “Do not go gentle into that good night”. A great read and very interesting also. The Boathouse has tranquil surroundings and is a great day out also.

A small quaint Seaside Resort
right in the heart of Pembrokeshire.
Saundersfoot Harbour was built in
1829 which transformed the small
fishing village into a thriving Industrial
Port, Exporting high quality Anthracite
by sea.
Also Queen Victoria said that she
would only use the Coal from
Saundersfoot to power the
First Royal Steam Yacht, this
was because it gave intense
heat and yet produced little smoke.
