St Catherines Island-Tenby-Pembrokeshire

St Catherines Island,Tenby,Pembrokeshire.

The Pembrokeshire Passport, this it is a bright orange wallet with plastic pockets where you can insert pre-written cards, pictures and words to show the bus driver where you would like to go on your journey.
If you have an impairment, less able, or if you find it hard to communicate this orange passport is brilliant, you can use it on any Pembrokeshire bus, Arriva trains and taxi drivers are aware of  it, just hold the orange passport up so that the driver can see it, and they will
be aware that you may need extra help. Also you can insert emergency instructions in case treatment is needed while out
travelling. This passport does not give you free or discounted travel on the bus or
train, but it is there to make your journey easier so you can plan with confidence.
Well worth getting one.

The Pembrokeshire Passport is Free.

tenby-lydstep cavern beach-low tide.

This beach is sensational, only to
be viewed at it,s highest glory at
low tide.
Park at lydstep headland car park,
walk to the right, follow a small path
until you come to a pembrokeshire
coast national park gate.
Descend the steps and follow the
path down, there is a rocky entrance,
but well worth it to see the beach, the cavern,s are an extra bonus.
All photo,s are available to purchase.

tenby-swanlake bay-pembrokeshire.

Swanlake Bay is not an official naturist
beach, but there are some naturists
who use it.
The bay is best approached from East
Moor Farm, where the owners have
provided limited car parking with an
“Honesty Box”.
Go throu the farm and follow the
coastal path signs, the bay is
relatively isolated but it is overlooked
by the pembrokeshire coastal path.
The rock formations to the left of the beach are a great view.

tenby harbour sailing boats.

Tenby sailing club is situated in a three-storey building at the walled-off section of the harbour called “the Sluice”.
It is thought the sluice wall was built in the 17th century, the construction of the Arched walkway across the Southeast side of the harbour was built in 1813.
Tenby Sailing Club Regatta.
Around the Harbour walls throughout the summer there are many fun events. Tenby Firemans Carnival, Tenby Folk Festival, Tenby Round Table Summer Spectacular and not  to mention Tenby Arts Festival and Tenby Blues Festival.
All these are Great days out, entertainment for all the family and for all ages.
Opposite the Harbour your leading onto North Beach to view Goskar Rock which stands prominent. Lovely views and picturesque scenery.
