The Pembrokeshire Passport, this it is a bright orange wallet with plastic pockets where you can insert pre-written cards, pictures and words to show the bus driver where you would like to go on your journey.
If you have an impairment, less able, or if you find it hard to communicate this orange passport is brilliant, you can use it on any Pembrokeshire bus, Arriva trains and taxi drivers are aware of  it, just hold the orange passport up so that the driver can see it, and they will
be aware that you may need extra help. Also you can insert emergency instructions in case treatment is needed while out
travelling. This passport does not give you free or discounted travel on the bus or
train, but it is there to make your journey easier so you can plan with confidence.
Well worth getting one.

tenby-swanlake bay-pembrokeshire.

Swanlake Bay is not an official naturist
beach, but there are some naturists
who use it.
The bay is best approached from East
Moor Farm, where the owners have
provided limited car parking with an
“Honesty Box”.
Go throu the farm and follow the
coastal path signs, the bay is
relatively isolated but it is overlooked
by the pembrokeshire coastal path.
The rock formations to the left of the beach are a great view.

tenby harbour beach-st julian,s chapel

Tenby Harbour is a working
fishing harbour.
Around the harbour there are
old stone buildings with converted
fishermen,s cottages, together with
St Julian,s Chapel.
St Julian,s Chapel stood dominant
and was a feature at the end of the
old quay in the 19th century.

All fishermen would assemble in the
old St Julian,s Chapel before setting
off for the fishing grounds, prayers
were offered for a good catch and tithes of fish and oysters were paid to the clergyman in return for his services.
The Chapel was destroyed in 1842, but the New St Julian,s Chapel was built by all the fishing community in 1878, it is still referred to as the fisherman,s chapel.
The chapel is open to the public during the summertime and well worth a visit, it is very unique and special inside, there is a donation box if you would like to take home a souvenir. Also beautiful surroundings.

Tenby Photos-Tenby South Beach-Pembrokeshire.

For the more adventurous holiday maker
a Maritime Leisure was provided on
South Beach.

In 1913 and 1914, pleasure flights were
available by Henri Salmet, the aircraft,
a Bleriot Monoplane with an open
cockpit. Obviously weather and tide
permitting, the plane would then take
off adjacent to St Catherine,s Fort and
return via a circuit of Caldey Island.

Now, holidaymakers flock to the sandy beach just to relax. In the summer season icecreams are available from the icecream vans on the beach, if they are not there, Den,s Cafe offer,s refreshments, hot and cold, so don,t go without.
